As part of efforts to reach the West African sub-region with its fleet management software, Fleeti organized a one-day training for the IT Support team of Baseline Technologies Laboratory Ltd. The virtual training, which sought to introduce BTL’s team to the Fleeti platform and also offer hands-on training on how to configure and reset GPS tracking devices connected to Fleeti software, was conducted on the 19^th of November, 2020. The Fleeti team used video conferencing tools to explain the platform features and guided participants on how to configure and reset GPS devices from different suppliers (particular attention was paid to trackers from Teltonika).

BTL, being a local partner to various fleet management software companies, installs GPS tracking devices on vehicles belonging to vehicle rental companies and other corporate entities in Ghana. With this training, BTL has added new skillsets and improved upon existing skills and technical know-how that will enable its staff offer unparalleled high-tech and hardware support services in Ghana. The training also positions BTL to offer fleet management technical support services, using the Fleeti platform, to companies in Ghana. Currently, BTL installs GPS devices that

have the capacity to track vehicle locations, fuel consumption, speed limit, vehicle immobilization and with ability to deliver SMS alerts to back office staff.
